1. Emotional Rollercoaster:

Crying spells, emotional swings—sounds familiar? You’re not alone. Peak week triggers unexpected emotions due to depletion and hormonal changes. Even the slightest setbacks can lead to tears, making it a rollercoaster ride. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed; it’s normal.

2. Unwanted Comments:

Amidst the excitement for your show, well-intended comments from friends and family can sting. Being called “too skinny” or hearing concerns about your health isn’t helpful. It’s crucial to explain your temporary physique goals as part of your sport. These comments can weigh you down, but remember, you’re doing this for yourself, not for others’ opinions.

3. Trusting the Process:

For first-time competitors, peak week feels like the last chance to make a difference. Trusting your coach’s plan is crucial. It’s tempting to alter things but sticking to the prescribed routine is vital for optimal results. Communicate honestly with your coach if you deviate from the plan—transparency is key.

What to Do:

Rest, delegate tasks, relish the highs, and focus on the empowerment this journey brings. Request positive support from those around you, and remember, it’s okay to ask for what you need during this crucial phase.

This week demands precision and trust in your coach’s guidance. Stay focused, maintain a positive mindset, practice posing, and prioritize rest. Fuel your motivation with athlete-centric content to stay pumped.
